The recognition of the 2BSvs Voluntary Scheme by the European Commission has been officially renewed on 8 April 2022.
The publication of the implementing decision in the Official Journal of the European Union recognises 2BSvs for the whole field of application of RED II, namely: biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, non-organic renewable liquid and gaseous fuels, as well as recycled carbon fuels.
This recognition therefore also includes the sector of methanisation.

In addition, the delegated acts were voted on 10 March 2022.
We are awaiting their publication and the details regarding their implementation from the European Commission.
