2BS Mapping Tool

The 2BS Mapping Tool is a platform for calculating the sustainability of plots, saving time and improving accuracy.

Context

The Renewable Energy Directive (RED) is based on two principles: sustainability of land and raw materials, and greenhouse gas emissions.

With regard to the first, the directive requires that raw materials be sourced from sustainable land parcels. They may not come from land with a high biodiversity potential, or from deforested land, for example.

Meeting sustainability requirements

2BS and FarmLEAP teams have joined forces to create a platform for analyzing the sustainability of parcels, the 2BS Mapping Tool. We have collaborated with FarmLEAP to facilitate the daily work of all our customers.

Our tool not only meets the requirements of the directive but also saves you time and increases precision.

The benefits of the 2BS Mapping Tool

The 2BS Mapping Tool is a platform made available to French cooperatives and is included in the 2BS annual fee. Its main objective is to help you save time and improve accuracy. To this end, an easy-to-use system has been set up to reduce the day-to-day administrative burden on traders.

*A version that can be extended to other European countries is currently under development.

Results

After importing the necessary information and just a few clicks, you’ll have access to your analysis in map form.

The results appear directly, visibly and recognizably on the map thanks to a colour code: you have access to every percentage of sustainable, non-sustainable and sustainable under condition lands.

  • Once your registration is confirmed, please contact us by email to ask for a 2BS Mapping Tool access: contact@2bsvs.com
  • Check your inbox: you will receive an authomatic email with your access information.
  • If you haven’t received the email, or are having trouble logging in, contact the platform’s support at support@farmleap.com.
  • Log in.
  • Go to the login page here: https://app.farmleap.com/login/2BS.
    Use the credentials provided in the email to log in.
