2BS breaks language barriers: sustainability certification guidelines now available in Spanish

This initiative aligns with our commitment to promoting sustainability practices while enabling sustainable players to access the European market.

In a significant move towards inclusivity and accessibility, 2BS, a non-profit association specialising in the certification of sustainability for the biofuel and biogas markets, announces the publication of its guidelines in Spanish.

Previously available only in English and French, the decision to offer guidelines in Spanish comes as a response to the growing demand from Spanish-speaking stakeholders in the sustainable fuel industries.

“We are thrilled to announce the availability of our sustainability certification guidelines in Spanish,” stated Bruno Berken, General Director at 2BS. ” With this expansion, we aim to facilitate access to our certification process for customers and stakeholders in Spanish-speaking regions, particularly in Europe and Latin America”.

In addition to making the guidelines available in Spanish, 2BS audits can be conducted in this language, with audit reports being delivered in the local lexis. This possibility further streamlines the certification process for Spanish-speaking clients, allowing for smoother communication and understanding throughout the auditing process.

The expansion of 2BS’s certification guidelines and audit services to include Spanish underscores the organization’s dedication to fostering sustainability and environmental management on a global scale. By breaking down language barriers and making resources more accessible, 2BS continues to empower businesses and stakeholders in the biofuel and biogas industries to meet sustainability standards and gain access to the European market.
